Product development

From a Drawing to a Sample You Can Hold.

New products developed from your idea, using materials the factory already runs.

The outcome

A physical prototype that either proves the idea works or tells you cheaply that it does not.

What is included

  • Material selection from what the factory already runs
  • Feasibility and cost assessment before tooling
  • Prototype production and revision rounds
  • Tooling design where a new shape requires it
  • Written specification once the sample is approved

How it works

  1. 01

    Brief

A drawing, a photo or a physical sample

  2. 02

    Feasibility

Can it be made, at what cost, in what material

  3. 03

    Prototype

    The first physical version

  4. 04

    Revision

    Usually one or two rounds

  5. 05

    Approved sample

    The reference for all production

  6. 06

    Specification

Written down so later batches match

What you can check

  • A feasibility answer before you spend on tooling
  • A physical prototype, not a render
  • An approved sample retained as the production reference

Questions buyers ask

What do you need to start?

A drawing, a photo, or a competitor's product. Plus the market and a rough target price - both change what is worth proposing.

Do you charge for development?

Prototyping in an existing material is generally absorbed into the order. New tooling is quoted separately and upfront. We will tell you which applies before any work starts.

When is tooling needed?

For a new die-cut shape in loofah or a new mould-dependent form. Size and packaging variations on existing products generally need none.

How long does development take?

Two to four weeks to a first prototype in an existing material. New tooling adds several weeks.

OEM / ODM
