Questions buyers ask
Which documents will our shipment need?
It depends entirely on the destination. Tell us the country and we will give you the list. Getting this right before production is much cheaper than discovering it at the port.
Can you issue EUR.1 for the EU?
Yes, for qualifying goods under the EU-Vietnam FTA. Confirm the current duty rate with your own customs broker - tariff schedules change and the liability at import is yours.
Is a phytosanitary certificate always needed?
For wood products, most destinations require one. Some also require fumigation. We prepare both where the destination calls for them.
What if the rules change between orders?
They do, and that is exactly why they must be rechecked before every shipment rather than assumed from the last one. We recheck; you should have your broker recheck too. Two sets of eyes on this is not paranoia.
